I'm a 24 year old, San Diego native traveling across Europe in 2017. With a degree in Environmental Systems from the University of California, San Diego, I worked for San Diego City Council President Sherri Lightner and ran a campaign to become a San Diego City Councilmember in the spring of 2016. I served as a Policy Advisor and Council Representative, advising on infrastructure, public safety and transportation policy until the end of Sherri Lightner's term in 2016. I found a love for improving the day to day lives of ordinary people and want to do more!
As I leave home behind, my goal is to find adventure and diverse perspectives that leas to new ideas for how to make the world a better place. I am following my passions for sustainability and politics as well as my dreams of traveling with nothing more than a single backpack, one pair of shoes and endless possibilities ahead.
